The Center provides UT students with free help on math assignments for courses within and outside the Math Department. The staff can help you with most 100 or 200 level math courses. Please make sure to come to the Center with questions about your assignment because the Center is not a study lounge. Also, the Center's staff are not geniuses but will try to help you to the best of their abilities. Finally, remember that the Center is busiest between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM, so when you come for some help, you may have to wait a little while.

This Center is new to UT, having opened in the winter of 2004. The staff will help you with lower level undergraduate physics courses. Please make sure to come to the Center with questions about your assignment because the Center is not a study lounge. Since a staff member works with you one-on-one, you may be asked to leave without having all of your questions answered if the Center is near capacity.

The Center provides UT students free, individualized help on all written assignments. For each session in the Center, you will be paired with a trained tutor (a graduate student or instructor from the English Department). He or she will help you brainstorm ideas, structure your paper, or polish the final draft among other things. However, he or she won't proofread or edit your work. Instead he or she will offer you constructive feedback intended to help you become more comfortable with writing while improving your writing skills.
