How much does it cost to participate in National Student Exchange?

Each NSE member campus determines which of the following fee payment plans it will use.

  • Plan A-Students pay the in-state (resident) tuition and fees at their host campus.
  • Plan B-Students pay their normal tuition and fees to their home campus.

Regardless of the tuition payment plan selected, room and board is always paid at the host campus. Fees that are assessed as a condition of enrollment (e.g. laboratory, general service, computer, technology, art and photography supplies, etc.) are also always paid to the host campus. You will also be responsible for transportation, personal expenses, and sightseeing opportunities while on exchange.
