Resources and forms

The University has lots of resources available to aid you in planning your academic path. The following online resources are full of information about advising, majors and minors, and general education requirements, as well as dozens of other topics.

  • Academic Advising Forms
This will take you to the College of Arts and Sciences Advising Services Form page. Here you'll find an assortment of academic advising forms such as the change of major form or the late withdrawal/never attended form.
  • Circle Park Online (CPO)
Search and register for courses, check your Volxpress Statemet and pay fees, and check your grades!
  • DARS Report
DARS (Degree Audit Reporting System) is a record of the progress you’ve made towards completing your degree. Using your academic history as a guide, it tells you what courses you still need to complete in order to finish your degree. You can also get a "what if" DARS report if you are considering changing your major. You can get your own DARS report online at https://darsweb.utk.edu/. You will need your NetID and password.
  • Early Alert Program
This program, co-sponsored by Minority Affairs and the Student Success Center, is designed to help you make a successful academic transition into college life by monitoring your academic progress during the semester. You are given feedback on your daily performance in class, which allows you ample time to make any adjustments necessary for academic success.
  • General Advising Information
The main advising webpage for the College of Arts and Sciences. Contains lots of great info about general academic advising for all students.
  • GPA Calculators
Trying to figure your GPA can be confusing. Some might even say that you need a college degree just to do it! Don't worry though. The Registrar's Office has a variety of calculators to help you figure it all out.
  • Hilltopics
The University of Tennessee Student Handbook.
  • Online Academic Guide
The undergraduate student’s guide to almost everything!
  • Undergraduate Catalogues
